Thanks to the community investing nearly £165,000 in community shares and the award of a Government Community Ownership Fund Grant of £225,000 from the Department of Levelling Up - to add to the grants from The Architectural Heritage Fund and The National Lottery Heritage Fund - Caistor and District Community Trust are delighted to announce the necessary £2.4 million has been raised and preparation work can commence in January with a view to construction work on the Old Co-op starting by summer 2023.
