    <dc:description>Moot House at The Stow, Harlow is an attractive 19th century grade II listed house. It was originally built circa 1840 to house the incumbent of the nearby St Mary-at-Latton church. The view of the church from the house disappeared as the Stow, nucleus of Harlow New Town was built.

There was first a bar in Moot House in 1955, situated in the old coach house. After many years of careful management the social club members raised enough funds to build a new building.
Being a member of the social club brings many benefits. You can attend the live performances, use the pool table or play darts, watch the large screen TV and take part in the special fun days that are organised by the members. The bar offers a diverse range of drinks at competitive prices. Everything you would expect from a free house. You will also be able to enjoy the relaxing courtyard garden in a safe and friendly environment

As a member you will be assured of a welcoming social atmosphere, in an excellent setting right on your doorstep. The social club particularly welcomes families.</dc:description>
