And there is a story behind every product - a story of changed lives!

A new Co-operative was formed in 2014, following the retirement of the previous owner, to run the shop. The shop is a well-established focal point of Fair Trade in Carlisle, working in partnership with producers, consumers and the community. 

The Co-operative’s aim is to make sure that this valuable asset continues to provide a hub for people who care about the origins of the food, gifts and homeware that they buy and for them to be actively involved in supporting the producers.</dc:description>
