    <dc:description>Blenheim Housing Co-operative was completed at the end of 1995 and is located in a secluded cul-de-sac at Aerodrome Road, Hawkinge. It is part of a larger development incorporating other housing association and privately owned properties. The estate on which the co-operative is built was formerly part of Hawkinge Aerodrome, famous for the strategic role it played in both the first and second world wars. To commemorate this the co-operative and its roads are named after planes that flew from the Aerodrome.

The estate has 42 properties comprising 16 three bed houses, 22 two bed houses and 4 one bed houses. The properties have fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms, double glazing, and gas fired central heating. The houses have their own front and back gardens and have individual parking spaces.

The village of Hawkinge is situated 3 miles north from Folkestone. Local facilities include a community centre, playing fields for local use, shops, a health centre and two local primary and secondary schools.

Blenheim Housing Co-operative has contractual tenancies and a 100% nominations agreement with Shepway District Council.</dc:description>
