SOPA seeks to encourage the development of appropriate marketing structures within the organic sector and collect and disseminate Scottish organic production statistics. It provides a forum and lobby to enable Government, advisory and research establishments, UKROFS, the Scottish Farmers Union and other bodies to be properly advised on matters concerning organic production in Scotland. Strengthening the prosperity and sustainability of members' businesses by being the champion of the development of organic food and farming in Scotland.
